- Provide 1/4 tsp oil
- Prepare 1 cup rice flour
- Use 1 cup peas

- 1.Boil 1 and 1/2 cup of water with 1/4 tsp oil in a vessel.Switch off the flame as soon as u see one big bubble in the bottom of the vessel. Never allow to boil completely.
- In a bowl,mix 1 cup of rice flour/ idiyappam flour and salt.
- Pour the boiled water to the flour and stir till it makes smooth dough.
- Then make this dough into big balls and sneeze it through an idiyappam presser.Squeeze it onto the idiyappam stand and steam it.
- After 5 minutes open it and serve it hot with vegetable stew / kadala curry / peas curry.
- Pressure cook soaked peas for 1 to 2whistle.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
- Add jeera seeds, chopped onion, green chilli, chopped ginger & garlic. Saute it.
- Add the spices- turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.
- Add chopped tomato and immediately add cooked peas and potato
- Cook the gravy in medium flame till the potato cooked.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
