- Boil dal for 2 whistles. Once the pressure settles, open cooker and add veggies (beans and carrot), 1 and half onion (chopped long), 3 spoon MTR sambhar powder, 2 spoon chilli powder, hing, haldi, 1 tomato (chopped), tamrind water, chopped coriander leaves, slit chillies, salt
- Boil all this for 10 minutes. Shut the cooker and wait for 2 whistles.
- For tadka: Oil, Mustard, Jeera, Urad Dal, Curry leaves and the rest half chopped onion. Add to sambar.
- Serve with hot rice, ghee, and papad :)
