- Provide 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder / whole spice powder
Instructions to make Sukto:
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry karela till brown and keep aside.
- In the same oil fry all the veggies and keep aside.
- Add mustard seed, methi seed and radhuni to the well. Wait till they crackle.
- Then add grated ginger to it. Fry till the raw smell gone.
- Add fried veggies and fried karela. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Mix mustard paste with water. Add the the mix, cover and cook till the veggies are done.
- Make a mixture of maida and milk. Add it to the curry. Cook till it thickens a little bit.
- Add garam masala powder and ghee.
- Tasty sukto is ready. Serve it with rice.
