  1. Get 200 grams cottage cheese paneer /
  2. Get tortilla Chappathi dough or ready made chappathis or sheets
  3. Get to taste salt
  4. You need 3 tsps water
  5. Provide 2 tsps rice bran oil
  6. Use 1 tsp chilly red powder
  7. Provide 1/4 tsp turmeric
  8. Take 1 tsp coriander cumin powder

  11. Provide 1 tsp kasuri methi crushed
  12. Use 1 onion big , finely chopped
  13. Take 1 tomato big , finely chopped

Steps to make Paneer Kathi Roll:
  1. Arrange all the ingredients ready. And prepare the chappathi dough(see synopsis above). If using ready made chappathi sheets or tortilla sheets then you can avoid making the dough.
  2. Take a wok, on medium heat, add 3 tsps of oil, crackle cumin seeds / jeera and crushed coriander seeds.
  3. Now add all the powder ingredients and saute. Add a dash of water, so that the ingredients don't burn and they cook properly.
  4. Now add all the vegetables one after the other and saute them until they are tender. Add required amount of salt and mix.
  5. Once the vegetables are cooked to perfection, add the cubed paneer pieces and mix. Switch off the flame and add crushed kauri methi to this.
  6. Now make small balls of the dough and ply them to a flat circle.
  7. On a non-stick tawa, cook these flattened chappathi dough, until you see brown spots on both the sides.
  8. Take it off the tawa, and add the prepared paneer stuffing in the middle, add some cheese(optional) and roll it.
  9. Again, on the non-stick tawa, add little oil / butter and roast the rolls until crisp.
  10. Cut the rolls into 2 and serve it hot with a cup of chaai.
