- Heat oil in a kadhai and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds when they start splittering add 1 tsp of red red chiili powder and 1/2 tsp of turmeric.

- Except for dal makhani masala. - Saute onion on mefiym flame till it is transparent.
- Now add tomatoes and curd and let it cook on low flame till onion & tomatoes get spiced up nicely
- Till now the dal is boiled mix it well
- Now add the boiled dal to this onion mixture add some water accordingly anf let it boil on medium flame for 10_12 mins
- Now add the dal makhani masala stir it well let it boil for 3_4 mins.
- Off the flame and garnish with coriander and serve hot with parathas or Nan.
