- Firstly soak rice for about 30 minutes add dal masoor also with rice while washing it.
- Now let’s start cooking take a wok add oil then add hard Garam masala cinnamon sticks etc then stirr for a minute on low burner flame.
- Then add chopped onion & let it turn till golden brown then add immediately ginger garlic paste with a dash of water so that the onions will not burn and the paste won’t splatter around cover the lid for few seconds.
- Then uncover the lid & add soaked rice & fry till 3-5 minutes so that the rice aroma comes around then add water & salt, turmeric powder garam masala powder, let it cook for few minutes covered.
- Now you can check a strand of rice if it breaks in 3 half’s it’s perfectly done turn off the burner just add a tablespoon of ghee & coriander leaves and cover it to rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Then serve hot with tomato curry,papad, achar, kababs etc.
