  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Divide dal mix into equal portions. Wet your hands and flatten each ball within palms
  5. Drop vadas in hot oil and deep fry over low-medium heat, till it becomes crispy and a dark shade of brown. Drain the fried vadas on tissue paper
  6. Serve the Vadas hot with steaming cup of Masala chai
