- For dal, wash all the dals and add to pressure cooker. Add salt and 5_6 cups water, turmeric powder, and mix well pressure cook for 4 to5 whistles.allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Heat the ghee in a pan. Add dry green red chillis, jeera when crackle add onion saute for 3 min.add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste saute for 2_3 min. Now add all masala haldi, chilli, garam masala along with 2_3spoon of water and mix well. Cook on a medium flame for 3_4 min. Remove from heat.
