  4. Once it is fermented well, add ½ tsp salt and mix well.
  5. Heat the Tawa/Dosa Pan and pour a ladleful of batter and spread out in a circular motion slightly thick than regular dosa.
  6. Cover and roast the dosa to a golden brown from the bottom and completely cooked from the top in presence of steam.
  7. Finally, enjoy vellayappam with chutney and veg stew.
