- Take 1 Papad roasted and crushed
- Take 1-1/2 tbsp butter
- You need 2 tsp olive oil
- Get 2 tbsp Amul cream
Instructions to make Paneer Butter Masala….In Dhaba Style:
- In a kadhai heat oil and then butter. Oil is added with butter to prevent the burning of butter when directly being added to the hot vessel. Add the cumin seeds, 2 red chilli and whole garam masala. Sauté in low flame till it becomes aromat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds. Now mix chopped onion. Cook with adding a bit of salt, till onions become golden quicker
- Then add chopped tomatoes and cook covered in low flame for nearly about 8 - 10 minutes. The tomatoes become soft, mushy and gathered with the onion masala like a dough, thus separating oil in the Kadhai from masala.
- Mix the rest dry spices along with chilli powder and then crushed coriander seeds. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Then add crushed papad, kasoori methi. Stir well to mix the masala.
- Add sugar and adjusting the salt.
- Add warm water as required to get desired consistency. - Let it simmer gently. Mix paneer cubes and cream. Stir well gently to avoid breaking of paneer.
- Cook the paneer butter masala uncovered for 5 minutes or more to get the required consistency of the gravy of the recipe.
- Add the garam masala powder and mix well. Transfer to a serving pot and sprinkle some crushed kasoori methi and decorate with cream.
