Are you looking to eliminate weight or just enhance your health? Watching the foods you consume and also the fat and calories you take in is a wonderful way to stay on a joyful and healthy course.

Eating healthy is frequently the toughest when dining outside. Lunch menus tend to be stocked full of enticing pictures, but often missing from these is the important information, including complete calories and fat. For that reason, you might find it tough to make healthy choices from a lunch menu.

The first step in creating healthy decisions from a lunch menu is choosing your location sensibly. When you’ve got several options, when seeking to dine out, it is necessary that you give each option a quick examination. Although fast food institutions have started to incorporate healthy foods and foods into their menus, you might find it easier to eat healthy at a traditional family restaurant. The exact same can be stated for all you can eat buffets, they are usually stocked full of suitable foods, not healthy foods.

You could also make healthy choices out of a lunch menu by looking for a healthy eating segment. As the foods we eat continue to be a controversy surrounded by debate, most restaurants have started developing healthy eating sections on their menus. These sections are usually full of low calorie meals and side dishes, as well as those that are reduced in fats or saturated fats.

Using your best judgment is another one of many ways you may make healthy decisions from a lunch menu. This is best achieved by examining dinner pictures onto a menu. It is also advised that you avoid foods overrun with oatmeal, cheese and sour cream. If your selection contains these fattening condiments, then make sure you ask for a lesser amount.

Talking of asking for a lesser amount, you might want to ask any questions that you have. Would you prefer to understand if the restaurant has low fat milk, sour cream, or mayonnaise? You will not want to assume they dotherefore, you might want to request your waiter. In reality, you might also want to inquire about carbs and fatloss. But this information isn’t always readily available to customers.

Even if after taking the above mentioned approaches, you’re unable to find satisfying healthy meals in your own lunch menu, you may want to order a healthy side dish or drink. Water is an excellent option, particularly in comparison to soda. Salads make excellent side dishes, particularly the ones that are eaten without a salad dressing or low-fat salad dressing. Of course, you might want to take extra measures to make sure you choose a healthy mealbut should you decide to forgo low calories for taste, take extra actions to ensure that you receive some nutrition.

The ingredients needed to cook Dolmadakia Stuffed Grape/Vine Leaves:
  1. Get 1 1/2 cup Short grain white rice
  2. Prepare 300 grams Grape/Vine leaves (50 leaves)
  3. Take 2 medium size finely chopped Onions
  4. Take 1 cup finely chopped Parsley
  5. Use 1 cup finely chopped Dill
  6. Get 1 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  7. Take 2 Lemon juices
  8. Provide Salt
  9. You need Pepper
Instructions to make Dolmadakia Stuffed Grape/Vine Leaves:
  1. Start off with the Grape/Vine leaves, if you are able to find fresh leaves at the farmers market, then that is great. All you need to do is boil them just so slightly for about 3 minutes, just so that they are easy to fold. If your not able to find fresh leaves, then the store bought ones do just fine, all you have to do is strain completely. I am not able to find fresh leaves either, so I always use store bought jars.
  2. Ok, next step is to take the sauce pan and add 1/2 cup olive oil, toss in the onions and stir for 5 minutes. Add in the rice and 2 cups of water, stir continuously so that it does not become one big blob. πŸ™‚ Boil for 10 minutes on low heat Set aside In a large bowl add in the Parsley, Dill and the rice mixture.
  3. Ok, this is really simple, I mean the rolling part. Place one leaf on your work surface, shiny side down, add one tablespoon or teaspoon (depending on how large the leaf is) in the middle. Then just turn in both sides of the leaf, take the bottom part of the leaf and start to roll upwards, this will turn out to look into a log.
  4. Take the large sauce pan and start by putting the Dolmathakia in a circle until finished. I have to invest in some new sauce pots and pans. The ones I have at the moment are so old and not very helpful. πŸ™‚ Anyway, if you have any rice mixture left over after rolling the logs, I usually add it into the sauce pan.
  5. Add the rest of the Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, Lemon Juice and Water just enough water to cover the Dolmadakia. Add a small plate on top to hold them down while boiling and this also helps the logs not to fall apart. Boil for 50 minutes..leaves and rice should be done by now. If not add a bit more water and let them boil until soft. These appetizers are eaten cold, and are delicious dipped in Yogurt and or Tzatziki. More than happy to help anyone who might try this recipe.
